The Life of the Honeybee and 100% Beeswax Candle-Rolling!

Everyone is fascinated by the true-to-life photos and easy to understand description of the honeybee’s life-cycle! Students quickly see how honey and beeswax production fit into the picture of our natural surroundings in addition to obtaining a greater understanding of honeybee life, where beeswax comes from, and why these candles are extra-special!

Beeswax candles will be made by each student. These candles burn slowly, smell fantastic and are actually known to clean the air by removing dust particles – never leaving an unhealthy residue.  Students receive pre-cut beeswax sheets with the highest quality wick which they then roll into two beautiful candles – they can keep their candles or place in gift bag provided and give as a gift!

All ages are welcome. Young students are reminded of safety measures of burning a candle. This class is a great opportunity for parents to spend time with their children or for adults to have a fun getaway on their own!
